Enrolment – Admissions – Southern Cross University

Enrolment - How will I know I am enrolled?

All students receive a Study Plan, which maps out your learning journey for the duration of your course and indicates the units that you will study for each session.

As a new student we will ensure that you are enrolled in your units for your first session. Once enrolled you will be able to access MySCU, MyEnrol and your SCU email account.

Please check that your enrolment matches your study plan. If they do not match, please contact us immediately.

Enrolment is your registration for the units you are to study in the session (normally 3 or 2 units per session). It is only after you are enrolled into the unit that you will get access to your learning materials for that unit (and will have access to all unit information, the Study Guide and all unit announcements). If you are not enrolled, you will not get access to your learning material AND you will not be an active student for that session in Blackboard.

When you have access to MySCU, MyEnrolment and your units on Blackboard/Collaborate, your unit enrolment is confirmed.

Your tutors and Learning Advisors will check your Blackboard/Collaborate access in your enrolled units and use this to monitor your attendance and academic progress.

Instructions on how to access your online classes and tutorials

Instructions on how to join the online classes are provided to you in your SCU email after Orientation when enrolment is confirmed
